Traditionally Moldova World Children’s Fund (MWCF) does what it can to brighten the lives of needy children, particularly those struggling with serious medical conditions.
The challenges facing children undergoing cancer treatment are immense, with the needed procedures taking a significant toll, both physically and emotionally. For some, this will be their last Christmas.
Each holiday season finds us traveling to localities all over Moldova doing Santa’s work, East and West, far North to deep South. MWCF in-country volunteer manager Irina Rusanovschi started the Christmas project in 2013…and has continued it every year since.
MWCF secret Santa Irina hand-delivers presents including books, toys, games, craft supplies, and more.
