Center Nicusor Renovation and Expansion

Orphan Care & Youth Grătiești, Chișinău Municipality (Moldova)

Facility for disabled children founded by a local mother, expanded and renovated by MWCF with a handicapped bathroom enabling non-ambulatory children to attend.

Martha & Alina Burke Strășeni Clinic Relief

Direct Aid Shipments Strășeni, Strășeni (Moldova) 2004 – 2005

Martha Burke adopted daughter Alina from Strășeni orphanage and returned to provide medicines, food, and clothing to the Strășeni clinic.

GaM Care Belgium & Netherlands Humanitarian Equipment & Work Boots Shipment

Direct Aid Shipments Nationwide (25 Communities across 11 Regions), Multiple Raions (Moldova) 2014

Paid transatlantic and European trucking for GaM Care donated furniture and supplies, distributing 220 beds, 20 mattresses, 1800 heavy-duty rubber work boots, and baby carriers to 300 vulnerable families across 11 regions.

Ruseni Village School Kitchen Modernization

School Infrastructure & Heating Ruseni, Dondușeni (Moldova) 2019

Remodeling of the kitchen at the Ruseni village school with durable new flooring, ceiling, walls, and replacement equipment and utensils in partnership with Dutch and German supporters.

US State Dept Transatlantic Aid Container Shipping (2022)

Refugee Relief & Emergency Aid Chișinău, Chișinău Municipality (Moldova) 2022

Transatlantic seaborne container shipping funded by the US State Dept carrying medical supplies, food bars, and canned food transferred from Chișinău into Ukraine.

Kakhovka Dam Disaster Flooding Emergency Relief

Refugee Relief & Emergency Aid Mykolaiv / Kherson region, Mykolaiv Oblast (Ukraine) 2023

Rapid emergency delivery of an inflatable boat, outdoor motor, searchlights, sump pumps, mosquito repellent, shower wipes, tourniquets, food, and ground mats to flooded areas.

Emergency Power Generators Installation (2025)

Refugee Relief & Emergency Aid Drochia / Chișinău / Zubrești (Moldova) 2025

Emergency purchase and installation of fossil fuel and solar battery generators funded by Jim & Kitty Olson for Fortuna orphanage, Chișinău handicapped center, and Zubrești Hospice.

Tatiana Single Mom Apartment Loan Payoff

Refugee Relief & Emergency Aid Moldova (Moldova) 2025

MWCF paid off the remaining mortgage loan balance on a one-bedroom apartment for single mother Tatiana to prevent eviction due to soaring heating bills.

Drochia — Fortuna Family Foster Home Renovation & Support

Orphan Care & Youth Drochia, Drochia Raion (Moldova) 1998 – Present

Assisted Peter and Anna Fortuna caring for 8 (later 24) adopted orphans. Installed proper windows, doors, and heating (1999-2000), renovated single bathroom and rebuilt septic/sewer system (2011), and provided ongoing monthly operating stipends.

Chișinău — Oncology Hospital Children's Wing Letters to Santa Program

Healthcare & Hospitals Chișinău, Chișinău Municipality (Moldova) 2012 – Present

Organized annual volunteer initiative fulfilling Christmas letters and delivering tailored gifts (toys, craft supplies, and live pets) to 86+ pediatric cancer patients at Chișinău Oncology Hospital.

National Oncology Hospital Children's Christmas Cheer

Community Infrastructure Chișinău, Chișinău Municipality (Moldova) 2013 – Present

Annual holiday gift and cheering program for pediatric patients receiving cancer treatment in the children's wing of the National Oncology Hospital in Chișinău.
